Creating a CO₂ balance takes place in three steps. First, you determine your CO₂ footprint using the Federal Environment Agency’s CO₂ calculator. You then identify your CO₂ saving options using the CO₂ scenario calculator. Finally, you balance your CO₂ balance with CO₂ certificates, which you can purchase and decommission on our website.

The certificate is valid for one year. After this period has expired, you can check and create your carbon footprint again and receive a new certificate.

You can link to this website in emails, social media, and with a barcode and personalized logo. You will also receive a certificate that you can upload to LinkedIn, for example.
